Excitement as intuition.

Hello loves,

The universe speaks to us in so many ways. Over the years I've had a complicated realtionship with intuition. I wish I could read for myself sometimes but it just doesn't flow for me like that. My spiritual abilities seem to function in a state of complete flow when I use them in service of my community. When it comes to understanding intuition for the most part I am in the same boat as everyone else. So, when it comes to deciding what to do next I fall back on everything that I've learned. I spoke a while ago about the idea that sometimes anxiety is intuition. Sometimes the state of hyper vigilance you feel is needed. Maybe during that time you need to look closer at your life and follow to see if it's a lesson and not just some wonky brain chemistry.

Today though I want to explore the idea that excitement is sometimes intuition. If you don't know what to do next in your life and you've thought yourself in circles about what's “smart” and what's “logical”, why not think about what's exciting to you? If nothing in front of you is even remotely exciting then go back to the drawing board and start again. I have to admit I use excitement a lot when I am deciding on what creative of business project to do next. That doesn't mean that the duration of the project is exciting, or sometimes even fun but using excitement as an intuitive gage always gives me some extra insight into where to go next. I get quite clinical with it. Making my lists, putting all my ideas on pieces of paper in front of me and then selecting the ones I feel more excited about. I don't always go ahead with that but more often than not it opens the door to truly helping me understand how I feel about a direction in my life.

After this mercury retrrograde there are a lot of lives that are still a little decompartmentalised. You might have learned something new. Re learned something you always suspected about yourself or just reconnected with a part of you that you put away for a while. Whatever it brought up for you measure your next steps against the energy of excitement and see if that helps create some further clarity. I know that intuition is the small quiet voice within all of us but I also know that intuition isn't just that either. It is the collection of non verbal information that is often delivered to you in a non verbal fashion. This is why it's important to get emotionally clear, to use what you think and feel as ways to gage what is being given to you.

Explore what excites you. Give in to it and see what it has to teach you.

Big Love,
